AODA Compliance is Coming!

Oh Canada!….we know hockey is back and we’re loving it too, but January 1, 2021 is also a milestone for Ontario businesses to meet accessibility standards for digital services. The AODA specifies that starting January 1, all websites and digital properties must be configured to the World Wide Web Consortium’s WCAG 2.0 AA standards that enable visitors with disabilities to access your digital services.

You’ve worked hard to make the physical aspects of your properties accessible to all who enter and it only makes sense that this applies to your digital services (like your website) as well.

When it comes to AODA (and also ADA) compliance, Placewise can help you test and configure all of your digital communications to meet these new, inclusive web standards. Check out our new accessibility white paper: AODA Digital Accessibility Overview as well as numerous other posts in Insights.
