As Principal of Mountain Marketing, Andi Simpson consults with large and small businesses to help them define, plan and execute their strategic marketing and communications plan. Her work with clients is focused on the built environment and audience engagement, using the latest in geo-fencing data analysis to the tried and true traditional toolkits of digital, social, public relations, print, event programming, and the execution of branded communications platforms. She is a storyteller, bridge builder, and energy-giver. 

Andi’s storied career and love of marketing and people began in preschool, staring in mall fashion shows, Santa arrival parades, and modeling for shopping center holiday ad campaigns (thanks to a mom in advertising and a dad in mall operations and development). With a brief project in Indonesia, the rest is history from General Growth Properties to Boston Properties to Federal Realty and on to Urban Edge Properties. Notable projects include the building, leasing, development and opening of Assembly Row, a $1.5billon mixed use award winning project in Somerville, MA; Prudential Center, Atlantic Wharf, and Faneuil Hall Marketplace in Boston, MA; Pike & Rose, Bethesda Row, and Harborplace and The Gallery in Maryland. 

Andi has scripted her career’s path as a marketing executive, working alongside the c-suite, development, construction, operations, corporate communications, retail, and community stakeholders. However, it is her time with her marketing teams throughout her career that have been the most rewarding. Her work in mixed use real estate, retail, hospitality, tourism, and corporate communications has earned Maxi, NAIOP, Neighborhood of the Year, Bisnow Power Woman, and mentoring awards for doing what she loves. She is always actively mentoring, presenting, and looking to build relationships wherever she goes. 

Andi is a graduate of Regis College and lives river-side in the mountains with her husband, daughter, and crazy dogs.
