Colleen Heydon has over 15 years of marketing management experience with an extensive track record across multiple industries including retail real estate, entertainment, advertising, and financial services.
Since 2015, Colleen has led Marketing efforts at Centennial, a retail real estate firm specializing in the investment, development and management of dominant retail properties, first as a property Marketing Director for MainPlace Mall in Orange County, CA and currently as Senior Vice President of Marketing. In her current role, Colleen leads the company’s national marketing organization including corporate, property and experiential marketing for a portfolio of eight regional shopping centers ranging from 500,000 to 1.3 million square feet. Leading up to Centennial’s acquisition of MainPlace Mall in 2015, Colleen had held various positions in shopping center management with Westfield since 2010.
Prior to joining the retail real estate industry, Colleen is credited with extensive marketing management experience within advertising, financial services, and over 10 years in the entertainment industry promoting some of the strongest brands in television including ABC, Paramount, PAX TV and The Family Channel.
Colleen graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. She served as a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and is currently an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. Recent recognition includes two MAXI Silver awards in the Launch and Experiential Excellence categories in 2020 and a MAXI Gold award for Marketing Excellence in 2019. In 2019 Colleen was selected by Real Estate Forum as a top CRE Marketing Influencer.
