Klaus Striebich is an expert and specialist for Retail and Retail Real Estate with an international approach. In 2018 he founded the consultancy “RaRE Advise” with a focus on advisory, experience and knowledge sharing and coaching. In addition to that, he has some mandates in advisory and supervisory boards.
His first touchpoints with retail have happened already in school time, when working as a sales person at the fromer Kriegbaum-Group - a germany-based hypermarket company - before he has studied economics and business administration at the “Berufsakademie Mosbach” with a diploma graduation.
In 1992 he joined ECE Projektmanagement GmbH, Hamburg, one of the leading shopping-center developers in Europe, where he started his career as a Leasing Manager. Within his 15 years as a board member he was responsible for more than 200 Shopping-Centers throughout Europe, with more than 20.000 tenants in 14 countries.
As a member of ICSC (International Council of Shopping-Centers) and the GCSP (German Council of Shopping-Places), where he was also a board member from 2006-2018, he had the chance to connect globally with the industry and received awards from and ICSC (2019) and MAPIC (2017).
He is doing specialized lectures at the IREBS (International Real Estate Business School) and at Fachhochschule Geislingen. His claim to understand retail properly and to cope the future is :
